After much search for "the right spot" Total Facility Solutions opened there operations in Doral, Florida on December 1st, 2011. Sergio Perez, the company's president stated: "We were looking for a central location where we could better-service our customers and still be in an up and coming city, and Doral fit that objective. It sits relatively close to most local highways, so our teams can attend to the needs of our customers that much faster"
TFS Gets Certified as a Carpet Cleaning Technician Company Through the ICRC Institute
As part of the company's initiative to constantly improve the quality of the services offered to its customers, TFS has recently earned a carpet cleaning certification through The ICRC. A 40 year old independent certification body, The ICRC is recognized in 30 countries and currently holds over 43,000 certified members with the objective to assure consistency and quality in carpet care services.

TFS Expands Its Presence In South Florida
On July 1st, 2012, TFS was awarded a janitorial service contract with a major banking institution which expanded the company's presence in South Florida. With the newly acquired service contract of 132 locations, extending from Key West to the West Palm Beach line, Total Facility Solutions now services a property in every city in the South Florida market. As a result, TFS is able to employee over 80 new employees.
TFS's Landscape Division Becomes Its Own Company
On May 1st, 2012, TFS spun off its landscape division, creating a new company, TFS Landscape Services, LLC. After acquiring its 2 last HOA condominiums it was time to create a self-standing self supported business. TFS Landscape Services (TFSL for short) now services the lawncare and landscaping needs of churches, manufacturing plants, grocery stores, and multi-million private homes throughout South Florida.
TFS's triples Its Offices To Better-Support Its Business
Due to the company's constant and steady growth for the last year and a half, it was time to acquire a new place of business to help better support our book of business and on June of 2012 TFS did just that. Now with all all of our departments under one roof and a distribution center to supply all of the product and equipment to service our company's local business, TFS is even more effective at training its personnel and responding to emergency service calls.

On October 8th, 2012, through nominations from TFS's area managers and field personnel, our company selected its first Employee of the Month winner, Candida Sanchez. This award was presented to her by her direct report, Mr. Albert Grass, and our company's president, Mr. Sergio Perez. In addition to a certificate, Ms. Sanchez was also given a $150 bonus and mention in the company's newsletter. Congratulations Candida; thank you and keep up the good work!!
